Starting from August 20, every Monday are held a series of classical concerts at the magnificent Sala Morone within the complex San Bernardino in Verona, organized by Orpheus 2 Cultural Association, come to 10th season and famous for undisputed quality of the performers. Just 2 km walk from the Residence San Tomaso, appointments are a must for music lovers, at only 15 € (full price) that is available at 6 PM directly from the site of the concert.
All concerts are accompanied by the tunes of Interpreti Italiani, who were born in 2003 from the union of some of the best Italian musicians with the initial idea of Francesco Ferrarini. The band, already known as soloists in major orchestras and chamber ensembles of international renown, are winners of national and international competitions and since 2003 the group held more than 300 concerts.
It begins August 20th, 2012 at 9 PM with the duo of Lucio Degani at violin and Francesco Ferrarini at violoncello, playing a selection of works by Tartini, Paradisi, Boccherini, Mozart, Beethoven and Handel.
It continues on August 27th, 2012 at 9 PM with the duo Lorenzo Parisi at violin and Giuseppe Mallorca at the piano, playing some music by Massenet, Elgar, Beethoven, Brahms and Grieg.
Another event is scheduled for September 3, 2012 at 21 with the duo “The Romantic Flute” composed by Claudi Arimany (flute), Michel Wagemans (piano) with music by Schumann, Moscheles and Franck.
The last event is September 10, 2012 at 9 PM with the ensemble of Intepreti Italiani who will perform the concert “divertimenti e serate per Archi” with music by Mozart, Elgar and Tchaikovsky.
The Sala Morone is located in Stradone Provolo n° 28 and is less than 2 km from our Residence, easily reached on foot through the old town of Verona.
